Community Partners
Starr Hill Pathways is committed to ensuring our Charlottesville Area-based youth engage with professionals who live and work in the same community where they live and attend school. We rely on our community partners to not only develop engaging and hand-on programming to share their love of their career pathways with our SHP students’ but also show them how they too can pursue their dreams right here in Central Virginia.
100% of our community partnerships are local to the Charlottesville Area (including the City of Charlottesville and its surrounding counties). 95% of them are BIPOC led or owned which is important to ensuring the student population we serve can see themselves in action in all professions.
